翻译 · With someone’s PurpleAir sensor about 0.5 miles from me, I can get a reasonable view of local air quality. Being the tinkerer that I am, I decided to look into the PurpleAir outdoor air sensor. At $279, it was a little out of my “curiosity price range”. After a little research, I was able to determine what parts are in the PurpleAir sensor.
Mar 17, 2020 · It’s surprisingly easy to make your own simple air quality sensor. All you need is a cheap laser-scattering particulate matter sensor, a Wemos D1 Mini, a soldering iron, and Tasmota. Part 1 shows how to make the simplest possible version of the SuperHouse Air Quality Sensor, the “Basic” version. Part 2 shows how to improve it to make a more advanced “Display” version, Part 3 is a detailed walkthrough of how the firmware works, Part 4 will explain how various Air Quality …
翻译 · To change calibration modes and calibrate, go to Tasmota's Console and use the commands: Disable Automatic Baseline Calibration: sensor15 0. Enable ABC: sensor15 1. Calibrate in clean outside air: sensor15 2. This sets the baseline to 400 (0.04 %), which sure isn't accurate but considered "good enough" for room air quality monitoring.
Jan 17, 2019 · What I wanted to do now is to remove the thermostats and install Sonoffs with BME280 sensors. These sensors will provide me with data for temperature, humidity and air pressure. The goal is to be able to set desired temperature for the heating, to set heating times, to remotely control it and to have insight into humidity.
The PMS 1003 Sensor The PMS 1003 Sensor is a recent laser based Air Quality Sensor developped by plantower (chinese name: 攀藤 (pānténg)) and used inside a numerous number of air quality sensing devices. It is also sometimes refered as HK 5001, or labelled under the "oneair" brand, but it is indeed developped and produced by plantower (a Shenzhen based company with office in Beijing).
Sep 20, 2020 · PurpleAir is a company that sells consumer grade air quality sensors for about $250 and then publishes the data to their site giving localized information. ... Tasmota has a basic driver for the PMS3003, PMS5003, and PMS7003 sensor. I didn’t dig any deeper then this as Tasmota primarily targets ESP8266 platform and I wanted to use an ESP32 as ...
As the sensors capabilities are limited you won't get a really exact value of "x µg/m³" of dust. Anyways the value you get is more then enough to evaluate the air quality in your room or if you should open the window or start an air cleaner. Sensor aging. It should be mentioned that dust sensors age over time.

Sensors like VZ89TE, BME680 and VZ89TE are Indoor-Air-Quality-Sensors (IAQ-Sensors) that work in a totally different way.
19-12-2020 · Hello friends! 翻译 · The device have 2 displays and is measuring the following air parameters: Temperature / Humidity / Ambient Pressure. Air particles PM1, PM2.5, PM10. Carbon Dioxide with NDIR sensor. Air Quality Index by EPA, based on 24h average PM2.5 particles. Ambient light. Optional: VOC with SGP30 breakout board.
The iAQ-core indoor air quality module is a low-cost, ultra compact solution for detecting poor air quality. This module uses micro-machined metal oxide semiconductor (MOS) technology to detect a broad range of VOCs while correlating directly with CO2 and TVOC levels in the room.

ZP01-MP503 Air-Quality Detection Module Product Description ZP01-MP503 air-quality module adopts flat surface semiconductor gas sensor. The module has very high sensitivity to volatile organic gases such as formaldehyde, benzene, carbon monoxide, ammonia, hydrogen, alcohol and smoke of cigarette, essence &etc.
Mar 22, 2018 · So there you go, a good DIY for a WIFI-enabled air quality sensor for approx $5, which you can expand later on. ESP8266-01 has 4 ‘readily’ available GPIOs (0/2/rx/tx) which you can use. Of course, you can always solder directly onto the SOC if you need more pins
